Annual sales figures for the 1978-1998 Saab 900 in the US.
The Saab 900 replaced the Saab 99 in 1978. The first generation was sold from 1978 to 1993 and is now known as the Saab 900 Classic (pictured below). The second generation (pictured above) is now known as the Saab 900 NG (New Generation) and was renamed Saab 9-3 in 1998. It continued to be sold as the 9-3 until 2002, when it was replaced by the last generation 9-3.
The 900 Classic was available as a two-door and four-door sedan, three-door and five-door hatchback and (from 1986 onward) a convertible, the 900 NG was available as three-door and five-door hatchback and convertible. These statistics include sales figures of all versions, although Saab 900 Convertible sales are also published separately.
