Annual sales figures for the 1982-1991 Porsche 944 in the US.
The Porsche 944 was introduced in the United States in 1983 as a replacement to the Porsche 924, which was built on the same platform. The 924 returned in 1986 with the same (detuned) engine of the 944 and was renamed Porsche 924S.
Please note that published production figures from that period are notoriously unreliable. Besides that, the discrepancy in sales and production can be explained by cars that were damaged during transport or cars that ended up being sold in other countries instead.
Use the dropdown at the top right of this page to find sales figures for any other car model sold in the US since the early 2000’s.
