The RX-7 was withdrawn from the US market in 1995 without a direct successor, while production continued until 2002. With the Mazda RX-8, the Japanese brand revived the rotary-engine sports car in 2003.

So far we’ve only been able to find production figures for the US for the years 1993-1995. All we know is that the last 2 RX-7 FD’s were sold in 1998.
