  1. 2015 Soul ! owner. The reduction in the sales of the KIA Soul does not surprise me. KIA and it’s dealers don’t seem to be interested in selling them …. limited advertising, obvious lack of commitment based on new car offerings (copy trends), Souls never in show rooms anymore, limited inventory, salespersons lack of knowledge of why people bought them. I think KIA feels they will die like the other cubes. While I’m sure I will buy a 2020 Soul turbo I feel upset they felt that instead of upgrading the Soul they just copied the KONA. KIA or maybe Hyundai don’t understand why they sold 150,000 in the past.

  2. I randomly ended up seeing my comment on the KIA SOUL sales. Seems the 2020 Soul hasn’t had much affect on the sales. I’ve only seen one in KIA showrooms since May. Only limited TV ads compared to other KIAs. I bought a 2020 Soul EX with the designer package. I didn’t feel the turbo (performance) was worth an extra $2,500 plus. I’ll miss the heated steering wheel, leather and panoramic sun roof I had on my 2015 ! but the panoramic sunroof and leather are history for the Soul. I think the 2020 is much improved i.e. sound suppression, ride, design and electronics but without KIA’s commitment sales will probably continue to decline. The Soul had character like the Beetle and the MIni but it didn’t have anybody to promote it after it was successful. It will be interesting to see how the 2020 Soul EV competes in the market,
