Here you will find annual car sales figures for Slovenia. These statistics are Total Market Volumes, which include passenger cars as well as light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
Since the early 2000s, the Slovenian car market has fluctuated between 55.000 and 85.000 annual sales. The market peaked in 2008 at almost 79.000 sales before declining almost 21% the next year. After being stable for two more years, another big hit came in 2012 with a 15% dip, followed by 7 consecutive years of growth to set a new annual record in 2019 at 86.600 sales. LCV sales typically make up 10% of the market, but were hit especially hard during the crisis years of 2009-2011 and have grown to over 15,5% in 2018.
