A few weeks ago we asked you what you thought of the new E-class. Now the results are in, and the verdict won’t make fun reading for Mercedes-Benz.
It seems that the majority of you (58%) prefer the outgoing E-class model, either because you believe it’s better looking or because, while you admit the new one looks better, you prefer the originality of the outgoing model. Another way to read the poll is that 77% of you actually acknowledge the new E-class is a better-looking car than the old one if you don’t worry about originality. This is probably what Mercedes-Benz was going for, but as a fan of original car design I have to bemoan this approach.
