These statistics include sales of the Seat Altea and Altea XL midsized MPV’s, but exclude sales of the similar Seat Toledo MPV. The SEAT Altea was a compact minivan produced by the Spanish automaker SEAT from 2004 to 2015. It was based on the Volkswagen Golf platform and was available in both hatchback and MPV body styles. The Altea was replaced by the SEAT Tarraco in 2015.

Seat Altea Overview

The Altea was available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engines were a 1.4-liter 16-valve, a 1.6-liter 16-valve, and a 2.0-liter 16-valve. The diesel engines were a 1.9-liter TDI and a 2.0-liter TDI. The Altea had a top speed of 125 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 10.5 seconds. It was available with a variety of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, and a parking assist system. The SEAT Altea was a stylish and practical minivan that was sure to turn heads. However, it was not as popular as some of its rivals, such as the Volkswagen Golf Plus and the Ford C-Max. It was discontinued in 2015 due to poor sales.
