  1. Very pleased to see that since its launch in 2005 Range Rover Sport is now (1 st.Q. 2019) the 2nd best selling premium SUV in Europe, just behind BMW X5 and before Volvo XC90. Well deserved, since I bought this model in 2005 with the 2.7 l V6 Diesel engine, drove a totally repair free 150’000 km and changed it in December 2011 for the 3.0 l V6 Bitturbo Diesel model. Actually it has 120000 km and, again, no repairs at all.
Judging from German car magazine publications and comparisons, this should be a loser – trailing, of course, all the German makes X5 (yes), the Q7, the Mercedes M-Class and GLE models, VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne etc.(did not happen !).

I hope this will continue after a “hard” Brexit. The quality of this car would deserve it – especially the model since 2013 with the alu body and now the smaller size turboengine with hybrid.
