Mitsubishi Grandis Sales Figures

Mitsubishi Grandis

The Mitsubishi Grandis was introduced in 2004 as a replacement to the Mitsubishi Space Wagon. The Mitsubishi Grandis is a seven-seater MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that was produced by Mitsubishi Motors between 2004 and 2011. It was introduced to replace the Chariot/Space Wagon/Nimbus minivans. It was also marketed as the Mitsubishi Space Wagon in Thailand. It was withdrawn from the market in 2010 without a replacement.

The Grandis was available with a choice of two engines: a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine. Both engines were available with either a manual or automatic transmission. The Grandis was praised for its spacious interior and comfortable ride. It was also relatively fuel-efficient for its size. However, it was criticized for its lack of refinement and its high price tag.

The Grandis was discontinued in 2011 due to declining sales. It was not replaced by a direct successor, but Mitsubishi does offer the Outlander PHEV, which is a seven-seater SUV that is also available with a hybrid powertrain.
