Monthly and annual sales figures for the Dacia Spring in Europe.

The Spring is an electric minicar based on the Indian-made Renault Kwid. The electric version of the Kwid was initially developed as the Renault City K-ZE in China, before Renault pulled out of that market as a passenger car producer. The Spring is therefore produced in China by Renault’s former partner Dongfeng. It is Europe’s cheapest electric car, and in order to meet European safety standards, Dacia Spring has been redesigned. It features a reinforced chassis, six airbags and other safety assistance systems.

Its electric motor has an output of 33kW (44hp) and it’s mated to a 26.8kWh Li-ion battery, giving it a range of 170km.
