The Chevrolet HHR was General Motors’ attempt to replicate the success of the retro-styled Chrysler PT Cruiser, but the HHR never came close to the popularity of that model, which was already past its peak by the time the HHR came to market.

Besides the Malibu, Volt and the sports cars Corvette and Camaro, the HHR is one of the few American models Chevrolet offered in Europe to supplement its line-up of South-Korean models.
