Aston Martin DBX Sales Figures

The Aston Martin DBX

The DBX is Aston Martin’s first SUV and competes with models like the Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne. See how Aston Martin DBX sales compare to the other models in the large SUV segment.

Aston Martin DBX Overview

The DBX is a big part of Aston Martin’s strategy to broaden their appeal in the international marketplace. It is meant to instill a more steady stream of income for the automaker, while improving the brand’s overall image. This outcome is not just good for the DBX itself, but for upstream models as well, so the success of their new SUV is something that company is really banking on.

Built on brand-new architecture, the DBX is designed to carry occupants in true Aston Martin style. Brimming with the latest technology to keep you safe, the DBX is comfortable, sumptuously luxurious, and will thrill you from the moment you sit behind the wheel. Thanks to lightweight aluminum construction, and its world-leading Aston Martin powertrain and suspension developed by the finest engineers of their kind, the DBX drives like no other SUV; it drives like a sports car and is considered by many outlets to be the best SUV on the market today, in terms of driving dynamics.

Aston Martin DBX Sales Data & Trends

Aston Martin has posted a profitable end to 2022, stirring hopes among investors and fans that the struggling luxury brand can turn around a prolonged loss-making spell. Some of Aston’s boost came courtesy of an increase in wholesales (sales to dealers) of the Aston Martin DBX SUV, a car that has lagged behind its potential due to the slower than expected roll-out of the 707 performance version after suffering supplier and production issues. Total DBX sales last year climbed 7 per cent to 3219 units, accounting for half of all Aston’s 6412 wholesales last year and illustrating again just what a difference an SUV can make to the sales figures for ultra-luxury brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce.
