The Volkswagen Passat CC dropped the Passat name and was renamed simply Volkswagen CC in 2012. These statistics include sales of the VW Passat CC and VW CC only, excluding sales of the regular Volkswagen Passat sedan and station wagon. In 2017, the CC was replaced by the Volkswagen Arteon.
