These statistics only include Chinese sales of the 308S hatchback and exclude sales figures of the Peugeot 308 sedan.
The Peugeot 308S hatchback was introduced in 2015 as a replacement to the Peugeot 307 hatchback. Peugeot hopes to change the perception of Chinese consumers towards hatchback models with the 308S.
