Mitsubishi Sales Data & Trends for the Chinese Automotive Market
China auto sales statistics for Mitsubishi only include the models that are locally produced in China through the GAC-Mitsubishi and Soueast-Mitsubishi Joint Ventures with local manufacturing partners Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (SUVs) and Soueast (sedans), and excludes import models.
GAC builds the ASX, Eclipse Cross, Outlander and Pajero for Mitsubishi, while Soueast built the Galant, Lancer, Lancer EX and Zinger for the Japanese brand, and also older generations of Mitsubishi models under its own brand, for example the Lioncel (which phonetically even sounds like Lancer).
