Sales figures for the Hyundai Elantra Lingdong in China.

As of 2016, Hyundai sells no less than 4 different generations of the Elantra: Hyundai Elantra,(third generation, of which production finally ended in 2016), the Elantra Yuedong (fourth generation), the Elantra Langdon (fifth gen) and this latest generation called Elantra Lingdong.

In 2017 the Hyundai Celesta was launched (though the literal translation of its Chinese name is: new Elantra), and this uses the same platform, engines and gearboxes as the Elantra Yuedong (from 2006), just with modern sheetmetal.
