The 007 is the first model of the Hycan electric vehicle brand, a Joint Venture between GAC and Nio. Hycan is positioned halfway between the mainstream GAC Trumpchi and the upmarket Nio brands, and competes with GAC’s popular Aion EV models.
Prices run from between 259.800 yuan (€ 32.800,- / US$36,700) and 400.000 yuan (€ 50.400,- / US$56,500), which means it competes head on with the GAC-Aion LX (229.600-349.600 yuan) but is significantly below the Nio ES6 (358.000-518.000 yuan). Other rivals are the BYD Tang EV (238.400-377.900 yuan) and its clone Denza X (289.800-357.800 yuan).
