Honda Vezel Sales Figures

Honda Vezel

The Honda Vezel is a subcompact crossover SUV that has been manufactured by Honda since 2013. Known for its stylish design, practicality, and efficient performance, the Vezel is marketed in various regions worldwide, with different names in some markets. In North America, for instance, it is sold as the Honda HR-V.

The Honda Vezel was introduced in Japan in 2013 and quickly expanded to other markets. Sharing its platform with the third-generation Honda Fit, the Vezel offered a compact yet spacious design that appealed to urban drivers. Engine options included a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a hybrid version combining the 1.5-liter engine with an electric motor. Transmission choices included a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual, with both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations available. The Vezel’s interior was known for its “Magic Seat” system, which allowed the rear seats to be folded flat or flipped up, providing versatile cargo and passenger configurations.

The second-generation Honda Vezel was introduced in 2021 with a more sophisticated design and updated features. The hybrid variant became a more prominent part of the lineup, reflecting Honda’s focus on electrification. This generation continues to offer the 1.5-liter gasoline engine and hybrid options, with the latter featuring improved efficiency and performance.
