Geometry (Chinese name Jihe) is an EV brand created by Geely in April 2019. The Geometry C is its second model after the Geometry A sedan. The Geometry C is based on the petrol-powered Geely Emgrand GS, with a totally new front and rear design to match the looks of the Geometry A.
It is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 200hp, which is more than the sedan. Its longer range version has a 61,9 kWh battery which gives the hatchback a range of 500km (310 miles) on a single charge. A standard range model will also be offered, with a 51.9kWh battery providing a 410km (255 miles) range.
Dimensions are 4.432/1.833/1.560mm with a wheelbase of 2.700mm. It’s priced at 139.800 yuan (€17.000,- / US$ 20,000), which puts it right in the same territory as the BYD Song Pro EV (179.800-219.800 yuan), GAC Aion V (159.600 yuan-239.600 yuan), Neta U (139.800-199.800 yuan) , Weltmeister EX5 (139.800-198.800 yuan) and Xpeng G3 (146.800-199.800 yuan).
The Geometry A mainly competes against the GAC Aion S and BAIC BJEV EU5.
Car sales statistics from China only include domestic production and exclude imported models.
