Denza, which started producing electric cars in 2014, is a brand of the Shenzhen BYD-Daimler manufacturing Joint Venture and currently consists of a single model. Sales started with the Denza EV, an electric hatchback based on a Mercedes-Benz B-Class platform, which was followed by the Denza X, an SUV based on the BYD Tang, available with PHEV and EV powertrains.
