The Citroen C5X is the new flagship of the Citroën-brand, with a design that mixes elements of a hatchback and a wagon.
The C5X is based on the EMP2 platform, which means it’s not as large as you’d think: 4.805/1.865/1.505mm with a wheelbase of 2.785. For example, the China-made Peugeot 508L has a wheelbase of 2.848mm.
Power comes from a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with an optional PHEV powertrain.
Priced from 143,700 yuan (€19.400,- / US$ 22,500) and 186,700 yuan (€25.200,- / US$ 29,200), the C5X will compete with cars like the Hongqi H5 (145,800 to 190,800 yuan), Kia K5 (161,800 to 205,800 yuan) and Skoda Superb (154,900 to 229,900 yuan).

Car sales statistics from China only include domestic production and exclude imported models.
