The Chevrolet Blazer is the brand’s flagship SUV in China, above the existing Tracker, Trailblazer and Equinox. Compared to the 5-seat US market version, the Chinese-market Blazer has a longer rear overhang and an extended roofline, which gives it 7-seat capacity from an additional third row. It shares its platform with the Cadillac XT6 and Buick Enclave. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 233hp and 258 pound-feet (350Nm) of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Prices range from 259.900 to 329.900 yuan (€33.800,-/US$ 36,500 to €42.900,- /US$ 46.400), which is in line with its rivals Ford Edge (229.800-389.800 yuan), Honda Avancier (220.000-332.800 yuan), Mazda CX-8 (258.800-330.800 yuan) and Toyota Highlander (239.800-325.800 yuan).
