The Q35 is based on the BAIC Beijing Senova X35. The Changhe Q35 is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Changhe, a Chinese automaker. It was introduced in 2016. The Q35 is available with a choice of two engines: a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine that produces 112 kW (150 hp) and 192 N⋅m (141 lb⋅ft) of torque, or a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that produces 120 kW (163 hp) and 210 N⋅m (155 lb⋅ft) of torque. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT.

The Q35 is available in three trim levels: Standard, Luxury, and Elite. The Standard trim is the base trim level and comes standard with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Luxury trim adds features such as a sunroof, power windows and mirrors, and heated front seats. The Elite trim is the most well-equipped trim level and comes standard with features such as a panoramic sunroof, a JBL sound system, and a leather interior.
