Beijing Auto Industry Corporation (BAIC) and its confusing array of subsidiaries and (sub-)brands (BAIC, BAW, BJEV, Huansu, Senova, Weiwang) is looking to consolidate all of its models under a single brand, simply named Beijing. This should become BAIC’s only brand, responsible for its petrol powered cars, crossovers and SUVs as well as EVs.
Car sales statistics from China only include domestic production and exclude imported models.
