The RC-5 replaces the Baojun 630.
Dimensions are 4.650/1.806/1.458mm, with a wheelbase of 2.700 mm.
Engine options are two 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engines: a naturally aspirated version with 98hp and a turbocharged version with 145hp. A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard, with an optional CVT automatic.
Prices range from 59.800 yuan (€7.400,- / US$ 8,800) to 109.800 yuan (€13.600,- / US$ 16,100). This is a starting price slightly below rivals like the Changan Eado (72.900-103.900 yuan) and Geely Binrui (75.800-110.800 yuan), Geely Emgrand (69.800-98.800 yuan) and Roewe i5 (68.900-115.900 yuan).
