Auto-sales-statistics-China-BAIC-Beijing-Senova_D20-MPVSales figures for the BAIC Beijing Senova D20 in China.

Senova is a sub-brand of BAIC (Beijing Auto Works), which was established in 2012. Its initial vehicles were developed on the platforms of the bankrupt Swedish brand Saab, of which BAIC bought the intellectual property rights and powertrain technologies at the end of 2009. Thanks to BAIC’s ties with Daimler, the Senova D20 takes styling cues from the first-generation Mercedes-Benz B-Class and uses the platform from the 2004-2007 Smart Forfour / 2004-2013 Mitsubishi Colt.

The Beijing Senova D20 replaced the gasoline powered Beijing E-series in 2015. The all-electric E-series EV was later also renamed Senova D20 EV.

These data include sales figures of the gasoline powered Beijing Senova D20 only, sales data of the Beijing Senova D20 EV are published separately.

Car sales statistics from China only include domestic production and exclude imported models.
