  1. Very useful resource – very good and informative for anyone especially those involved in the motor trade

Do you have an equivalent site for Powered Two Wheeled (PTW) sales figures?

This is my other area of interest and I usually get this information from trade journals, unfortunately I don’t keep them for more than a few months

So it is not possible for me to check back over previous years data

  2. “2014 sales can be split into 43.009 Fortwo coupe versions and 9.050 convertible variants.” Is that 2014 calendar year or 2014 model year? Since the new (C453) smart fortwo went on sale in Europe in late 2014, are you including C453 sales in the 2014 numbers? Last, the C453 convertible will shortly be available in Europe, so there’s some confusion about which fortwo convertibles are included in your 2014 numbers. Thanks.

    • Bart Demandt says:

      Hi Jwight,

this is calendar year, we don’t really use the term “model year” in Europe as it is done in North America, as models don’t get updated every year.
And sales of the Smart Fortwo include all generations, so including the 453. That means the 2014 and 2015 convertible sales are all still the 451 generation.
