Rolls Royce

Rolls-Royce-auto-sales-statistics-EuropeRolls Royce sales more than doubled in 2010 thanks to the introduction of a smaller model, the Ghost. In the following years, the brand saw sales decline by about 30 units per year, but remained stable in 2013 and rebounded to their second-best year ever in 2014 thanks to an update of the top-of-the-line Phantom and the introduction of a new model.

The Wraith, a coupe/fastback based on the Ghost, is the answer from BMW’s ultimate luxury brand to the highly successful Bentley Continental GT Speed in the > € 200.000,- V12 luxury coupe market. It also extends the Rolls Royce model line-up from the Phantom in 2 wheel bases, a coupe and a drophead coupe, and the Ghost in 2 wheel bases to a third model line, as the brand sees the Wraith as a separate model, not just a Ghost coupe. A convertible Wraith named Dawn was introduced in 2016 and should help the brand continue its strong momentum.

The Phantom will be discontinued in 2017, but will get a successor the year after.
