  1. FYI, Luxgen is a Taiwanese automaker from the island country of Taiwan.

    • Bart Demandt says:

That’s right, Brad. Luxgen is a brand from the Joint Venture between Dongfeng Motor of China and Yulon Motor of Taiwan.
Since the cars are made in Hangzhou, China, they are considered domestic models and therefore feature in these statistics.
But the brand is indeed originally from Taiwan. I remember the Yue Loong Feeling was shortly exported to Europe in the 1990’s, it was the first Taiwanese car in The Netherlands!

  2. Luxgen might be able to go one on one with BYD, the ultimate automaker in China and the world.

Let me know what you think of this article. Thanks!
