China-auto-sales-statistics-Fiat-logoChina auto sales statistics for Fiat only include the models that are locally produced in China through the GAC-Fiat Joint Venture with local manufacturing partner Guangzhou Auto Group Co., and excludes import models.

Pre-2008 models were produced by the Nanjing-Fiat Joint Venture, which ended when Nanjing Auto merged with SAIC, who had no interest in the Fiat JV.

    Why don’t these numbers tie to GAC reported numbers?

      Hi Hank,
      As far as I know they do correspond. GAC Fiat reports both monthly production figures and sales figures, perhaps there’s the discrepancy?
      Otherwise I’d be happy to look at your source to see if I can find why there would be a difference in the numbers.
